Championship club Derby County have reported a loss of £11.3m for the financial year ending June 2025 - down just under £3m from the previous 12-month period.
An increase in revenue of £12.5m - up from £19.4m to £31.9m, chiefly down to broadcast income - coupled with the sale of defender Eiran Cashin to Premier League club Brighton in January for £9m, helped reduce overall losses.
Promotion to the Championship, secured two seasons ago, pushed income from television coverage up nearly £9m from 2024.
Around £12m was spent in the transfer market during the reporting term on players including Ebou Adams, Kenzo Goudmijn, Jacob Widell Zetterstrom, Sondre Langas, Lars-Jorgen Salvesen and Carlton Morris.
As well as the Cashin fee, money was also brought in by sales and sell-on clause deals from Liam Delap, Jayden Bogle, Morgan Whittaker and Jason Knight.
The compensation package paid to secure head coach John Eustace from Blackburn Rovers in February was part of an overall operating loss of £11.1m.

The club's overall net liabilities have increased to £44.9m, up from £33.6m in 2024, largely down to owner David Clowes injecting funds for the "day-to-day running of the club".
The Rams say they are in a "healthy" position regarding Profit and Sustainability Rules [PSR] with "headroom of £25.3m over the three-year period".
Championship clubs are allowed to post maximum losses of £105m over a three-year period, with an average loss of £35m per year.
"Derby County will always live within its means and will not ever enter a period of 'boom or bust' which had such dramatic ramifications for the club in the recent past," the club said,, external referencing the financial crisis that led to administration before Clowes' takeover in July 2022.
