Crawley Town have signed Derby County central defender Ben Radcliffe for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.
The 21-year-old moved to the Rams from Burton Albion in the summer of 2023 but struggled to force his way into the first team at Pride Park.
His only senior appearance came as a substitute in an EFL Trophy match in September 2023.
Radcliffe spent the first half of this season on loan at National League side Gateshead where he scored twice in 17 league appearances.
"He is a very good young defender, who I first took on loan at Gateshead at the start of the season," Crawley boss Rob Elliot told the club website.
"He is big, strong and comfortable on the ball. He always wants to get on the ball but defends really well first and I am hopeful that he can be a great asset for the club.
"He's a great lad, with good character, so I think he will fit into the group really well."
