Hull City sign Leeds forward Gelhardt

Joe Gelhardt's only start for Leeds this season came in the 3-0 EFL Cup defeat by Middlesbrough in August

Hull City have signed Leeds United forward Joe Gelhardt on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old has made just three appearances for the Championship table-toppers this season and has not featured since October.

He could make his debut for the Tigers, who are 23rd in the second tier, in Saturday's trip to Millwall.

"I've spoken to the manager about the plans and direction the club is going in and I can't wait to get started and get playing," he told the club website.
