Truro City have signed former Barnsley forward Aiden Marsh on a short-term deal.

The 22-year-old was a free agent having left the Tykes in the summer and has been training with Truro in recent weeks.

Marsh scored four goals in 36 appearances for Barnsley in all competitions and spent the second half of last season on loan at Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers.

He has also had loan spells at Scunthorpe United and York City.

Marsh, who has agreed a deal until January, comes in with Truro having failed to score in eight of their 11 National League games so far this season, as well as having strikers Rekeil Pyke and Tyler Harvey out injured.
