Cheltenham Town have signed defender Sam Stubbs on loan from fellow League Two side Bradford City.

Stubbs, 25, has played 55 games for Bradford since joining the club in January 2023 and will be available for the Robins' game against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

“Sam will bring a physical element to us which will be effective in both boxes," said manager Michael Flynn.

"He's a good age and he's got valuable experience. Coming from a big club like Bradford he knows how to handle pressure moments, which will be key."

Stubbs began his career with Wigan Athletic and has had spells at Middlesbrough, Fleetwood Town and Exeter City.
