Bradford City and Crewe Alexandra have both been fined by the Football Association following a mass brawl in the second half of their League Two game on 7 December.

The incident was triggered when, just two minutes after he had equalised in their 1-1 draw, Bantams goalscorer Alex Pattison was sent off for kicking the ball into the face of Crewe's Omar Bogle as he lay on the ground after being fouled.

Both clubs admitted the charge of 'failing to ensure their players did not behave in an improper and provocative way'.

Crewe, who were fined £1,000, accepted the standard penalty.

Bradford, who were fined £2,750, were sanctioned by an independent Regulatory Commission following a hearing.
