Neghli 'will be really good player for Millwall'

Camiel Neghli has played in three games since joining Millwall from Sparta Rotterdam

Millwall boss Alex Neil believes club record signing Camiel Neghli will be a "really good player" for the club but said the Algerian will need time to settle into the Championship.
Dutch-born Algerian Neghli joined the Lions from Sparta Rotterdam at the end of January and made his first appearance at The Den in a lively cameo off the bench as Millwall drew with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
The 23-year-old tested Baggies goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith with three shots on target and showed promising glimpses of his ball-carrying abilities as the home side dominated the second half.
"We did spend significant funds on Camiel," Neil said. "I feel he is a technically really gifted player. I think the physicality of the Championship is going to take him some time to get up to, but what you could see was those flashes of moments where he lands on the ball.
"Technically he's super equipped and tactically he's very good as well because he's come from Dutch football.
"Camiel will be a really good player for this club, I've no doubts about that. He just might take a little bit of time to bed in."

Tristan Crama moved to The Den from Brentford in the winter transfer window
Neghli was one of eight incomings at the club during the January transfer window.
Benicio Baker, Zak Sturge and Zak Lovelace moved to The Den on deadline day, with Neil revealing it could be a while before Baker and Sturge in particular appear in the first team.
Tristan Crama, Aaron Connolly and Luke Cundle have already become fixtures and former Preston North End boss Neil has been impressed by the way everyone at the club has dealt with a period of upheaval since he was appointed in December.
"To come in when you're playing Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday every week – I've had two clean weeks, one building into Dagenham [and] one building into Leeds, which were both cup games, so I haven't even had a clean week for a league game," he said.
"For the players to take on board what I'm asking them to do mid-season with no pre-season, with an influx of signings and people out of contract in the summer and all the dynamics that goes with that, I think everyone has handled it in an extremely good fashion."
Neil said he hoped Josh Coburn would return from injury in time to face Preston on Tuesday, though Macaulay Langstaff remains unavailable.
