Grimsby Town have signed forward Jude Soonsup-Bell on a one-year deal with the 21-year-old having left Spanish side Cordoba.

Soonsup-Bell signed his first professional deal with Chelsea at the age of 17 and made his senior debut for the club in the Carabao Cup against Brentford. He has also been capped by England from Under-15 through to U19 level.

He joined Tottenham in 2023 and played primarily for their U21s before joining Segunda Division side Cordoba.

Soonsup-Bell was released earlier this summer without making an appearance after spending the second half of the 2024-25 campaign on loan in the third tier at Atletico Sanluqueo.

"I'm really pleased that Jude has chosen to join the team. He's an exciting talent with a great pedigree and a player we have been watching for some time," Grimsby boss David Artell said.

"He will add great competition to our forward line this season and we are really excited to work with him."

Soonsup-Bell's agreement at Blundell Park also gives Grimsby the option to extend by a further 12 months.

Artell's side have taken four points from their opening pair of League Two fixtures, scoring six goals in the process, and host division rivals Shrewsbury Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday (19:45 BST).
