Crawley Town have signed former Millwall left-back Scott Malone from Gillingham for an undisclosed fee.
The 33-year-old becomes the third signing in less than 24 hours for the Reds, following the captures of ex-Swindon striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy and centre-back Josh Flint after his contract expired at Dutch club Volendam.
Malone has made more than 500 appearances in a career spanning 15 years, playing 193 games for Millwall across three stints at the club.
He has penned a one-year contract at Broadfield Stadium.
"I have said for a few years now that I have wanted to play for this club," he told Crawley's website., external
"I married into the area 10 years ago as my wife is in Broadfield, so it has always been a dream of mine."
Meanwhile Hepburn-Murphy, 25, has joined the club on an initial two-year deal having scored 12 goals in 52 appearances for the Robins.
Top scorer Danilo Orsi signed for Burton Albion on Thursday after his 25 goals spearheaded the Reds to League One promotion via the play-offs last season.
Hepburn-Murphy scored six goals as Swindon finished 19th in League Two.
"The style of play really attracted me to the club, I watched a lot of the football at the end of the season and it really appealed to me," he said., external
"I also have a lot of familiar faces here, so it was an easy decision."
Flint, 23, made 28 appearances as Volendam were relegated from the Eredivisie last season.
He has signed a two-year deal, subject to international clearance.
Flint was part of the Portsmouth academy before moving to Volendam in 2020, going on to make 40 appearances for the club.
"I was really impressed when I watched the play-off final, and this seems to be a really great club to be at," he said., external
Crawley begin their League One season at home to Blackpool on Saturday, 10 August.
