Crawley sign Showunmi from Louisville

Tola Showunmi played for Pittsburgh Riverhounds before a spell at Louisville

Crawley Town have signed Tola Showunmi from Louisville City on a two-year deal.

The 24-year-old striker made 10 appearances and scored twice for the Kentucky-based club.

He previously played for Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

Showunmi becomes Crawley's 16th summer signing since the club was promoted to League One.

The Reds began the new season with a 2-1 league win over Blackpool, before beating Swindon Town 4-2 in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
