Gillingham have signed veteran winger Garath McCleary on a one-year contract and recruited Wigan Athletic winger Jonny Smith and Watford defender Travis Akomeah on loan deals.
McCleary, 38, joins the League Two leaders as a free agent after his near five-year stay with Wycombe Wanderers came to an end on Sunday.
The former Jamaica international, Nottingham Forest and Reading forward's move to Gillingham - where he also has a further 12-month option - sees him reunited with boss Gareth Ainsworth, who he previously played under at Wycombe.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Smith moves to the Gills on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The forward, who began his career at Wrexham, has scored 10 goals in 77 games for the Latics.
Akomeah's deal with Gillingham lasts until January.
The 19-year-old centre-back rejoined the Hornets earlier this year following his departure from Chelsea and could make his Gills debut on Saturday in their trip to Bromley.
Akomeah featured twice for Chelsea under-21 side in the Vertu Trophy last season.
