Boro sign Man City midfielder Nypan

Sverre Nypan made his senior debut for Rosenborg aged 15

Middlesbrough have signed Manchester City midfielder Sverre Nypan on a season-long loan deal.

The 18-year-old Norway Under-21 international joined City from Rosenborg for £12.5m in June.

Nypan is Boro's fifth summer signing after Alfie Jones, Callum Brittain, Abdoulaye Kante and Sontje Hansen.

He could make his debut for Rob Edwards' side, who have won both their league fixtures this season, in Saturday's trip to Norwich.
