Rovers 'not good in any aspect' of Wycombe defeat

Inigo Calderon was Brighton's under-18s head coach before coming to Bristol Rovers in December

Bristol Rovers head coach Inigo Calderon said his side weren't "good in any aspect" of their 2-0 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday.
Goals from Cameron Humphreys and Daniel Udoh secured Mike Dodds his first win as new Wycombe boss whilst Rovers succumbed to their 16th league loss of the season.
"I don't think we were good in any aspect of the game," Calderon told BBC Radio Bristol after the match.
"Offensively, defensively, set-pieces, fighting, running. I don't think it was our day, and then it was difficult to get something from the game in a place like Wycombe.
"We have to learn quick but it wasn't good enough today."
With Wycombe 15 places above the Gas and 28 points superior in the League One table, Rovers were always going to be underdogs at Adams Park.
What was more concerning for the Spaniard though was how dominant the hosts were as his players mustered just three shots compared to the Chairboys' 14.

Despite a resilient first-half defensive display, the ex-Brighton full-back brought on Aston Villa loanee Sil Swinkels and defender Taylor Moore at the start of the second half.
"For me it was coming. We tried to change a lot of things which I prefer to do at half-time, so you have more time to talk with the players in 15 minutes to understand the new plan.
"It was more or less alright at the beginning but when we had a bit of control, we lost the ball in the other half where we wanted to be.
"They scored the goal, then everything was a bit more complicated and I think that affected the match."
Rovers' night went from bad to worse in the 82nd minute as substitute Shaqai Forde was shown a straight red card for a reckless tackle on Luke Leahy.
"He's not having a good time. That's football, that's life, but obviously he has to learn," Calderon added.
"I said to him he's young, he has to deal with the bad situations and obviously, doing that is not the way to learn."
Rovers' next league fixture is away this Saturday at Northampton, who sit two points below them in 19th.
