The New Saints 1-0 Cardiff City: Chantelle Teare scored the only goal of the game at Park Hall as New Saints beat last season's champions and Welsh Cup winners Cardiff City.

Barry Town United 0-4 Swansea City: Swansea, with Yzzy Taylor now in permanent charge, begin the new Genero Adran Premier season in style at Jenner Park. Chloe Chivers put them ahead after two minutes before adding a second on the hour mark. Stacey John-Davis and Emily Richards sealed the win.

Briton Ferry Llansawel 2-5 Wrexham: Jenny Sugarman's reign as Wrexham started with a big win at Briton Ferry Llansawel, although they had to come from behind after goals from Jade Crofts and Megan Kearle put the hosts 2-0 in front. Mariam Mahmood reduced the deficit with a goal on her debut in first half stoppage time. Second half goals from Ava Suckley, Katie Barker, Natalie Clark and Rosie Hughes secured the win.

Pontypridd United 0-2 Aberystwyth Town: Modlen Gwynne and Carys Bufton scored the goals which ensured Aber began the season with victory over newly promoted Pontypridd.
