Sheffield United sign Posh skipper Burrows

Sheffield United have signed Peterborough captain Harrison Burrows for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal.

The 22-year-old, who can play on the left of defence or midfield, had been with Posh since the age of six and scored both goals in their EFL Trophy final victory against Wycombe last season.

Burrows scored 20 times in 185 appearances for the League One side in all competitions and also helped them win promotion to the Championship in 2021.

He follows Jamie Shackleton, Sam McCallum, Kieffer Moore and Callum O’Hare in joining Chris Wilder’s side since their relegation from the Premier League last season.
