Torquay United have signed former St Mirren and Truro City striker Cody Cooke from Bath City.

The 31-year-old scored 55 in 130 games for Bath during a three-year spell.

Cooke scored 13 goals in National League South in his final season with Truro City and helped them reach the first round of the FA Cup for the first time, before joining Scottish top-flight side St Mirren in the summer of 2018.

He scored five goals in 27 games in his time in Scotland, which was hit by injury, before joining Weymouth for a season in 2020.

“Whilst we are extremely disappointed to lose Cody, it is a deal that is right for the player and importantly Bath City Football Club," Bath boss Jerry Gill told the club website., external

"He has been the ultimate professional throughout his time with us, we thank him for his huge contributions on the pitch and he leaves us on very good terms and with all our best wishes”.
