Morecambe sign Salford forward Dackers on loan

Marcus Dackers has made five appearances for Salford City this season

Morecambe have signed forward Marcus Dackers on a season-long loan deal from fellow League Two side Salford City.

The 21-year-old came through Brighton & Hove Albion's academy before joining the Ammies' youth set-up in 2021.

“It’s a good chance for Marcus to get some regular game time at this level in light of the squad being strengthened during the window," Salford's director of football Ryan Giggs said.

“He has done very well in the National League and the National League North in the last couple of seasons, and this will give him the opportunity to challenge himself in League Two."
