Grimsby Town have signed Burnley goalkeeper Charlie Casper on a season-long loan deal.

The 20-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for the Clarets but has had loan spells in non-league with FC United of Manchester and Bamber Bridge.

Casper is the third generation of his family to play professional football after grandfather Frank and father Chris.

"Charlie has terrific potential, and we want to help him develop his skills," boss David Artell told the club website.
