Portsmouth have signed midfielders Mark Kosznovszky from Hungarian side MTK Budapest and Luke Le Roux from Swedish side IFK Varnamo, both for an undisclosed fee.

Kosznovszky, 23, and 25-year-old Le Roux have joined on a three-year contracts with the latter's deal subject to international clearance.

Le Roux is a South Africa international, winning five caps, and Kosznovszky joins having also had a spell with Parma before returning to Budapest.

"He [Kosznovszky] can do a bit of everything – being able to handle the ball and also be a bit more attacking to make an impact in the final third," Portsmouth manager John Mousinho said., external

"Mark is also a very powerful runner and we believe he can adapt well to playing in the Championship, so we're delighted to add him to our squad.

"Luke's form over the past couple of seasons means he not only found himself on our radar, but also that of a number of other clubs.

"So we're delighted that he's agreed to join Pompey and we've brought in an experienced international player."

Australian forward Adrian Segecic and former West Bromwich Albion midfielder John Swift are the other new arrivals for the new Championship season.
