Crewe will get more transfer business done - Bell

Lee Bell rejected the chance to talk to another club in December 2024 to remain as manager of Crewe Alexandra

Crewe Alexandra boss Lee Bell has said there is "no panic" over this summer's transfer plans and that deals "will get done" over the coming weeks.
The Alex have signed two players so far since the end of last season - striker Josh March and full-back Reece Hutchinson.
In addition, two members of the current squad - defender Charlie Finney and midfielder Owen Lunt - have signed new contracts.
"It's fairly quiet across the board in the EFL but we have not panicked," Bell told BBC Radio Stoke.
"We do need to bring players in and we're constantly working on it, we're in dialogue with other agents and CEOs, some have let me speak to the players directly and hopefully we'll be able to bring a couple in."

Bell said the club had had a "couple of knockbacks" and had "missed out on a couple" of other potential targets.
With two permanent moves completed, Bell is keen to stress that, as usual, getting players in on loan will be a key factor.
"The loan market's going to be important to us and the calibre of loan that we want may mean we have to wait a bit longer because their parent club wants to have a look at them and then make a decision," he said.
"People have assured us as soon as these players are available to go out on loan, they'll let us know."
Only a poor run in their last six games of the season, when they only picked up one point, denied the Alex a chance of making the play-offs in League Two for the second campaign in a row.
Having been only one point off the top top seven before that run, Bell's side finished eight points adrift.
Despite that, Bell knows he already has solid foundations on which to build another shot at promotion this term.
"I went on to the [training] pitch the other day and people are saying 'come on let's sign some players' but you look and stand back and think 'we have got some good players here' and my job is to add to it.
"There's no panic and we'll get some business done."
