Leeds United defender Pascal Struijk will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury.

The 25-year-old Dutchman picked up the injury in last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Luton Town.

Struijk has made 38 appearances for Leeds, who are top of the Championship on goal difference, in all competitions this season.

"Pascal, I can confirm his season is over, he doesn't need surgery but will be out for 10 weeks," boss Daniel Farke said.

Farke also confirmed that winger Dan James, who scored the winning goal in Tuesday's 1-0 win at Middlesbrough, will miss Saturday's home game against Preston North End with a hamstring injury.

The Whites are level on points with Burnley and two clear of third-placed Sheffield United with five games to go.
