Former Wales full-back Thomas dies aged 78

Former Wales, Swindon Town and Derby County defender Rod Thomas has died at the age of 78.
Thomas won 50 caps for Wales between 1967 and 1977.
The full-back joined Swindon Town from Gloucester City in 1964 and was a member of the side which won the League Cup in 1969.
In 1973 he moved to Derby County, where two years later he won the First Division title with the Rams.
Thomas also played for Cardiff City, Newport County, Bath City, Barry Town as well as a second spell at Gloucester.
