Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl has left the crisis-hit Championship club by mutual consent.
The 36-year-old's departure, less than two weeks before the season starts, is the latest development in a chaotic summer.
The Owls are under a number of embargoes because of financial issues, including players being paid late in both May and June, and owner Dejphon Chansiri is looking to sell the club.
Rohl had looked set to leave last month when he did not return to take pre-season training but eventually came back in early July.
The club have confirmed that coaches Sascha Lense, Chris Powell, Neil Thompson and Sal Bibbo have all also left and BBC Radio Sheffield understands that Henrik Pedersen, who took pre-season training before Rohl's return, is likely to be named his successor.

"A very special time is coming to an end and I am incredibly grateful for the experiences we shared over 21 unforgettable months together," Rohl posted on Instagram., external
"This summer has been difficult and, in the end, the club and I came to the mutual decision to part ways.
"I understand the different thoughts and reactions to everything that has been going on during these past few months.
"I am extremely grateful to have had this opportunity. Even during the difficult moments and setbacks, I have always continued to feel the support from everyone."
The German took over at Hillsborough in October 2023 with the side having made their worst-ever start to a season and he led them on a fantastic run of form to avoid relegation back to League One.
Wednesday then finished 12th in 2024-25 but won just one of their final nine matches as their play-off push faded away.
After the final game of last season at Watford Rohl intimated that his time at the club could be up, before the off-field issues took centre stage.
The Owls start the new Championship season with a trip to relegated Leicester City on Sunday, 10 August.
Rohl leaves with squad looking threadbare - analysis
Rob Staton, BBC Radio Sheffield reporter
It is believed Rohl had been focusing on plans for the first game of the season against Leicester. However, a difficult past few months, which at times appeared to create an unsustainable situation, has now led to an agreement being reached to part ways.
Rohl had conducted individual meetings with players in an attempt to build bridges and create a fresh start. It is thought the players responded to this, with a productive last fortnight at Middlewood Road.
Wednesday had two recent training games where they defeated York City and Mansfield Town - scoring five times without conceding a goal.
Yet Rohl's departure follows the news on Monday night that forward Callum Paterson was leaving for League Two MK Dons.
The Owls are left with a threadbare squad and those remaining will be keeping an eye on pay day this week, after not receiving their wages on time for May and June.
The squad is very small and the club remains under embargo, limiting what can be done to add players.
