Coventry City midfielder Callum O'Hare has left the Championship club after coming to the end of his contract.
The 26-year-old scored 22 goals in 182 appearances for the Sky Blues, having initially joined on a loan deal from Aston Villa in August 2019.
He was part of the squad that reached last season's FA Cup semi-finals, in which they eventually lost on 4-2 penalties to Manchester United at Wembley.
Although he missed the second half of the 2022-23 season as City reached the Championship play-off final, he scored 10 goals as the club finished ninth in 2023-24.
"Coventry City would like to thank Callum for his contribution to the club that was unfortunately significantly disrupted due to injury over his last two seasons with us," said a club statement., external
O'Hare has been linked with a move to Sheffield United, where he would rejoin Gustavo Hamer, who left Coventry for Bramall Lane for a reported £15m in August 2023.
Viveash leaves as Boateng joins staff
Former Coventry midfielder George Boateng is returning to the club as part of a shake-up of manager Mark Robins' coaching staff.
Adi Viveash, Robins' number two throughout his second spell at the club from 2017, has left, while Boateng and Rhys Carr have been appointed as first-team coaches.
Carr joins Coventry from Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he was individual development coach. He has also worked for the Republic of Ireland Women’s team.
Former Netherlands international Boateng scored seven goals in 57 games for the Sky Blues from 1997 to 1999 before being sold to Aston Villa.
"Coventry City would like to put on record its thanks to Adi for the last seven years of service and the role that he has played in our achievements over that time, including promotion from League Two to the Championship," said a club statement.
"We are very pleased to welcome George and Rhys to Coventry," said Robins. "They both impressed us during the extensive recruitment process for this important role.
"Each bring key skills to the football department. Their experience and knowledge will greatly aid our work both in advance of and on matchdays."
