Every young football fan dreams of playing at Wembley, and we've probably added to that fantasy by being the player who leads the team out and lifts the cup.

At least one of those sensations will come true for Peterborough's Harrison Burrows, who dons the armband.

The 22-year-old isn't just getting to play at the national stadium, he's getting to do it for the club he has watched since the age of four. He was there back in 2014 as Darren Ferguson's then side beat Chesterfield.

"I don't want to overthink Wembley. When I get there I know it will hit me," the left-back told BBC Look East.

"Everyone you speak to says it's such a special feeling to play there."

Wycombe have a 100% record in this season's competition, having won all three of their group games before victories over the under-21 sides of Fulham, West Ham and Brighton carried them through to the semi-finals.

They had to travel to League Two side Bradford City in the last four, but despite being outplayed for much of the game, the Chairboys won through 1-0, thanks to substitute Matt Butcher's stoppage-time strike.

Peterborough also finished top of their group despite losing 1-0 to Colchester United in their last match and after beating Arsenal's Under-21s 3-0, despatched two more League Two sides, Crawley and AFC Wimbledon.

A trip to Blackpool, winners in 2002 and 2004, in the semi-finals looked a tough task for Posh, but they avenged a 2-1 defeat by the Seasiders just three days earlier with a convincing 3-0 win at Bloomfield Road.

Malik Mothersille put them in front and Harrison Burrows scored twice late on to seal their place at Wembley.

Joel Randall comes in for David Ajiboye, who drops to the bench, in the only change for Peterborough.

Posh have firepower on the bench in Jonson Clarke-Harris.

Wycombe have made five changes to the starting XI, Jack Grimmer, Nigel Lonwijk, Richard Kone, Kieran Sadlier and Freddie Potts come in.

The Chairboys also have players ready to make an impact, with Sam Vokes and David Wheeler among their sub options.

Peterborough still have eyes on promotion too and will be hoping this will be the catalyst for further success.

Wycombe are stuck in mid-table but this is a special day out for their fans who can turn a middling campaign into a good one if they hoist some silverware.

It may have its detractors when it comes to format, but there is no denying the the EFL Trophy, or the Bristol Street Motors Trophy as it is known in its current guise, represents a chance to savour the big time.
