Just as Carrick were beginning to assert themselves, it's the hosts who take the lead!
James Knowles' free-kick evades everyone and finds Cathal McGinty at the back post, who squares the ball back across goal where John McGovern is on hand to fire home from inside the six yard box.
The goal certainly comes against the run of play, but it was a well worked set piece that ultimately gives Dungannon Swifts the lead just after the half hour mark!
