    Ben Arthurs (42 mins)

Bangor respond and level the game!

That was a lovely finish and his 159th goal for the club.

  3. Carrick 'hard to break down'published at 15:37 BST 30 August

    Glentoran 0-1 Carrick Rangers

    Oran Kearney
    Former Coleraine manager on Sportsound

For me Glentoran need to work harder in trying to work out how to break Carrick down. They are struggling to get behind the Carrick defence.

Carrick are condensing the pitch into a small area - that's their experience showing.

  4. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:37 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

Francely Lomboto outmuscles Thomas Lavery and takes a tumble inside the area looking for a penalty.

The visitors appeal, but referee Shane Andrews shakes his head and waves play on. He's not having any of it.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:36 BST 30 August

    Bangor 0-1 Dungannon Swifts

Ben Arthurs picks up the first yellow card of the game.

  6. Postpublished at 15:36 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

Rory Hale takes the free-kick short and quick, laying it off for Jonny Addis.

The defender's shot is a tame one, straight into the arms of Jacob Carney. A real opportunity wasted for the home side, and the Lurgan Blues will be relieved with that.

  7. goal

GOAL- Bangor 0-1 Dungannon Swiftspublished at 15:35 BST 30 August

    Andrew Mitchell (35 mins)

    Dungannon open the scoring!

Andrew Mitchell's header pings off the right hand post before finding the back of the net.

Gareth Deane won't want to see that goal back as he should have done better.

  8. Postpublished at 15:34 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

Paddy Burns is the man to stop Thomas Lavery's run, a challenge 20 yards out, earning the Reds a free-kick in a dangerous position.

Both Rory Hale and Michael Glynn are standing over the ball, eyeing it up. You'd imagine they'll be going for goal from here.

  9. Watch: Joe Gormley fires Cliftonville into the leadpublished at 15:34 BST 30 August

  10. goal

GOAL - Glentoran 0-1 Carrick Rangerspublished at 15:33 BST 30 August

    Paul Heatley (35 mins)

    Who else but Heatley!

After all the pressure from the home side, Carrick punish them with a scintilating break.

Heatley chases onto a delightful ball over the top and outpaces the Glentoran defence before sliding the ball past Andrew Mills and into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.

  11. Postpublished at 15:33 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

Another attempt from Shea Gordon, this time from a wide position just inside the penalty area.

He lets fly again, and it fizzes narrowly past the far post. He's certainly getting closer, and you feel a goal for the home side could be on the cards soon.

  12. Postpublished at 15:31 BST 30 August

    Bangor 0-0 Dungannon Swifts

Tiarnan Mulvenna's free-kick sails straight out of play.

I think the wind had a big part to play in where that ended up going.

  13. Postpublished at 15:31 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

That’s much better from the home side, stringing a few passes together to work it forward.

Rory Hale finds Shea Gordon on the edge of the box, but his first-time, left-footed effort curls just over the bar. A nice move, but the midfielder will be frustrated with the finish.

  14. Postpublished at 15:28 BST 30 August

    Glentoran 0-0 Carrick Rangers

Glentoran continue to bang on the door but they are lacking that bit of quality to put the ball in the net.

Cameron Palmer is next to get a toe on a cross, but once more it sails well wide of the goal.

Stoppafe in play now as Rangers' keeper Nathan Gartside receives treatment. But, the good news is he is up and ready to continue.

  15. Postpublished at 15:27 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

Francely Lomboto's pace is causing the Reds some problems in the opening half hour.

The attacker bears down on their penalty area, but his final delivery is a poor one, straight at PJ Morrison. Neither manager is pleased with that; Jim Magilton for the defending, and Paddy McLaughlin for his forward's wasteful final ball.

  16. Postpublished at 15:25 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

The Reds almost gift Glenavon a way back as Jonny Addis plays a loose pass straight to Jack Malone.

Just as danger looms, Harry Wilson gets back smartly to nick possession and spare his team-mate’s blushes.

  17. CLOSE!published at 15:24 BST 30 August

    Bangor 0-0 Dungannon Swifts

Tiarnan Mulvenna and Reece Neale play a clever one-two on the left wing before the latter sends the ball into the box for Ben Arthurs, who nods a whisker wide.

That is the best chance we have seen, albeit there hasn't been much competition.

  18. Postpublished at 15:22 BST 30 August

    Cliftonville 1-0 Glenavon

The Lurgan Blues look to respond as Sean Carlin meets a cross with a glancing header. His flick takes a deflection behind, but the resulting corner is dealt with calmly by the home side.

  19. Postpublished at 15:21 BST 30 August

    Bangor 0-0 Dungannon Swifts

Kealan Dillon whips a dangerous corner into the box, but it is headed wide.

Rodney McAree's side have had plenty of corners in the opening 20 minutes and he will be frustrated that his side have failed to test Gareth Deane through any of them.

  20. Postpublished at 15:20 BST 30 August

    Glentoran 0-0 Carrick Rangers

Glentoran beginning to exert their authority on this game now.

First, Marcus Kane has a goalward header deflected behind, then Shane McEleney failed to get on the end of a Danny Amos free-kick when through on goal.

Finally, Liam Burt moments later forces Carrick keeper Nathan Gartside into a fine save.
