  13. Rae replaces Sinclair in Saints goalpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November

    St Johnstone 0-1 Hearts

Big change at half-time by St Johnstone boss Simo Valakari.

He's changed his goalkeeper. Not sure if it was an injury to Ross Sinclair, but he was all at sea with a few Blair Spittal corners in the first half.

Josh Rae starts the second half instead.

  18. Can St Johnstone produce another comeback?published at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November

    HT: St Johnstone 0-1 Hearts

A slim but deserved lead for Hearts at half-time. Kye Rowles was shown a yellow on the stroke of half-time for a challenge on Adama Sidibeh that last season may have led to a straight red.

Saints look very dangerous with the afore mentioned Sidibeh and Benjamin Kimpioka leading the line but at the other end Blair Spittal is beginning to show why Hearts were so keen to sign him in the summer.

Remember last week Saints trailed 1-0 away to Dundee at half-time? Can they replicate that comeback win performance?

  19. Buddies want betterpublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 2 November

HT: St Mirren 0-0 Ross County

There were a few moans and grumbles from the home fans around me in the main stand as the interval approached. They know wins have been hard to come by this season and feel frustrated that their team passed up a golden opportunity to get ahead in this game when Greg Kiltie's penalty was saved by Ross Laidlaw.

The league table tells you there's not much between these two, separated as they are by just a couple of goals. Toyosi Olusanya hit the bar in the dying embers of the half but the flag was up for offside well before he prodded his effort towards goal.

Ross County will be happy enough to have coped well with their hosts so far and look threatening up front with Jack Grieves and Jordan White causing the home defence a few problems. All we need is a goal to get this one going properly.
