Morecambe have won just one of their 11 Football League games against Gillingham (D4 L6), failing to keep a clean sheet in any of those matches.
After winning their first away Football League game against Morecambe in January 2009 (1-0), Gillingham have since failed to win any of their four matches at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium (D3 L1).
Morecambe have lost each of their last three league games, conceding 3+ goals in each of those matches. Having already lost four games in a row this campaign between October and November, this could become just the second EFL season in which the Shrimps have twice endured losing streak of 4+ matches, following the 2017 season.
Gillingham have lost each of their last two away league games without scoring - not since November 2022 have the Gills lost three successive matches on the road without netting a goal.
