FT: Birmingham City 2-2 London City Lionesses

    Fara Williams
Former Chelsea midfielder on BBC Two

I think the gap is really big. What she's done really well is bring those experienced players, the Asllani's, the Jakobsson's that have WSL experience. They have real pedigree in their team as well along with that experience. I think the balance of it is really good. The fact that she's prepared to pump the money in, that team can attract, with salaries, big players.

I think that's the good thing about them coming into the league because when you come up players might not want to sign for you knowing they might go straight back down, knowing they can give you that little bit of extra money it might attract better players. They could bring big players in the summer.

I have a lot of admiration for Michele Kang because I think she is empowering women throughout the game, across all levels.

It's the fact she believes in the value of women's football, and she's driving that investment and she wants to compete at the highest level and she wants her players to have the opportunity to keep on excelling.
