The Rangers striker is found unmarked deep inside the St Mirren penalty box from Mohamed Diomande's pass but, after chesting down, he lashes his half-volley over from 12 yards.

That's the first time Hearts have got in behind Dundee. Blair Spittal slides the ball to James Penrice with precision, but the left-back sees his cross blocked.

It's been all Hearts so far but very little creativity in the final third.

Hibernian defender Rocky Bushiri is no stranger to a dramatic intervention but on this occasion he diverts a Nectar Triantis shot over when, had he got out of the way, it looked like a goal for his team-mate.

St Mirren are looking the more likely.

Killian Phillips is found deep inside the Rangers penalty box.

He escapes his marker and his clever wee backheel looks to be evading Liam Kelly, but the goalkeeper rises to grab it with one hand.

Josh Campbell has his head in his hands after heading a Hibernian free-kick wide. The ball might have clipped the left-hand post on its way out.

Aberdeen go up the other end and Topi Keskinen rounds goalkeeper Jordan Smith only to have his effort cleared off the line. Ah, Keskinen was offside in any event.

Motherwell have only one fit centre-back, and the defending for the opening goal backs that up. Michael Wimmer said pre-match that the formation could change depending on how the players feel during the game, it'll be interesting to see how that develops.

St Johnstone are short of defenders themselves, more goals to come, surely...

Now it's Aberdeen's turn to press and Topi Keskinen makes a trademark run towards the byeline, while Rocky Bushiri's clearance smacks team-mate Nectar Triantis in a rather awkward area. He soldiers on.

First effort on goal comes from Rangers.

Cyriel Dessers' snap shot looks to be heading wide, but goalkeeper Zach Hemming decides to push it away for a corner.

It lands at the feet of the unmarked Bailey Rice, but the teenage midfielder makes a mess of his volley.

Hibs' intent is clear as goalkeeper Jordan Smith plucks the ball out of the air and sends an enormous throw towards halfway and Aberdeen are quickly on the back foot.

Moments later, Martin Boyle gets a sight of goal and flashes the ball wide.

An early St Mirren shout for a spot kick as midfielder Killian Phillips collapses under a soft Clinton Nsiala challenge.

The referee is not impressed - and neither are the angry Rangers players.
