This will be Reading’s first home league game against Lincoln City since a 2-1 win in November 1998 under former manager Tommy Burns.
After the two sides drew 1-1 in December, Reading and Lincoln City could draw both meetings in a league season for the first time since 1972-73.
Reading have won seven of their last 10 home league matches (D1 L2), keeping a clean sheet in six of those victories.
Since losing their first league game in 2024, Lincoln City are unbeaten in 15 league matches (W10 D5), last enjoying a longer unbeaten run between December 2018 and April 2019 (19). The Imps are also looking to win six consecutive Football League matches for the first time since May 1992 (7).
