Not scintillating, not spectacular, but the bits of quality that were required were there. He's got two of the best fit and firing in Jess Park and Khadija Shaw. They'll have to be better against Chelsea in the next couple of weeks, but they're through to the semis.

Arsenal have won their two most recent meetings with Liverpool but the Reds come into the quarter-finals on the back of a 1-0 defeat of Crystal Palace, that gave interim manager Amber Whiteley a winning start following Matt Beard's exit.

"They've changed the formation and the way they do things. So we have to be ready to exploit and defend that," Slegers said.

"They have ve strong belief in who they are and and how they can deal with things.

"They are not afraid of pressing high and they can cause similar problems like West Ham caused us."

Arsenal had to come back from two goals down to beat the Hammers 4-3 in the league last week but Slegers believes her players will be up for the challenge this time.

"Looking at the league and the questions every team ask us, it's part of every game to find solutions to win," the Arsenal boss said.
