League Two
All competitions
This will be the first ever meeting between Forest Green Rovers and Gillingham in the top four tiers of English football.
Gillingham have failed to win on each of their last two visits to Gloucestershire (D1 L1), with both games coming against Cheltenham in April 2013 and April 2022.
Forest Green Rovers have lost 30 league games in 2023, the most by a Football League side in a calendar year since Stevenage in 2013 (also 30). The last team to lose more games in a year were Oxford United in 2000 (32 defeats).
Only Stockport County (91) and Mansfield Town (76) have won more League Two points than Gillingham (72) in 2023. Despite this, the Gills have conceded more goals (50) than they’ve scored (48) this year.
