'Home World Cup a great opportunity for every young girl'published at 10:56 British Summer Time 28 July
The 2035 Women's World Cup is expected to be held across the four nations of the United Kingdom, which is the sole bidder.
"I think this tournament will give us a chance to build an even stronger legacy as we build towards 2035," says FA chief Mark Bullingham.
"We have until the end of November to deliver a brilliant bid for Fifa so we're working very hard on that.
"There are some of these players who will still be able to play in 2035, so it is a great opportunity for them and every young girl around the country who has aspirations to play at a home tournament in 2035."
