Mo Salah. Got to be one of the favourites this year. Near 50 goals and assists. Awesome all season. Plus a fantastic role model in the game.

    Greg Evans, Preston

Vitinha has to be top of the list. Six trophies, one final just losing. Been the main man for that PSG team. Without him holding the fort, they may have not won so many.

    Pippa Smith, Loughborough

Hannah Hampton has to win Ballon d'Or Feminine - not just be nominated. Invincible domestic treble; Euros win; Champions League Semi finalist. But of course, individual honours don't go to goalkeepers, despite being the most important position on the pitch... #GoalkeepersUnion.

Think the Ballon d'or Feminine has to be between the Arsenal stars this year. Caldentey and Russo both made huge contributions to the Champions League win, and then battled it out in the Euros final.

Ooh I think it’s between Hampton and Berger as they have both been outstanding at the Euros and Hampton has had a good season with Chelsea too. It could also be tight with Cata Coll as she’s been really good too. Caldentey and Russo both made huge contributions to the Champions League win, and then battled it out in the Euros final.

It has got to be Hannah Hampton she is the best!

It has to be a shootout between Dembele and Salah, Dembele won the European Cup and had a stellar season, but Salah won silverware and had a much higher level of performance throughout the season - it'll be a very interesting winner this time round!

    Chris, Wrexham

Purely on the eye test Salah is hands down the best player I saw last season - pains me to say it as a Man Utd fan but he deserves it
