I would currently describe this game as a bit bitty.
Portugal are controlling the majority of the play with Denmark happy to break when they can but nothing is coming off for either side right now.

A good spell of possession for Croatia at the moment after withstanding a number of France attacks.
If Croatia get a goal then you'd imagine that's game over for the hosts.

Dani Olmo fires a strong pass towards Barcelona team-mate Lamine Yamal and of course, he controls it with ease. He then looks to cut in and whip one toward the bottom corner with his left foot but it's well blocked.

Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe link up again, the latter volleying the former's cross just wide.
Is it going to be one of those nights for France? They are creating lots but the finishing isn't there yet.

Paul: Portugal are being held back by constant pandering to Ronaldo. They need to move him on and out of the team for god sake. He’s stifling them as a team. It isn’t just because he’s missed a penalty tonight either. He was rotten at the last Euros.

A Germany free-kick causes a bit of a scramble inside the box with Gianluigi Donnarumma making a bit of a mess of his attempt to punch away, but there's relief for Italy as they are eventually awarded a free-kick for a foul.

That penalty miss isn't stopping Portugal in their pursuit of a leveller in this tie as Cristiano Ronaldo gets his head on a deep cross but Kasper Schmeichel is there once again.
