Four of the last six league matches between Port Vale and Cheltenham Town have ended in draws, with each side winning once each.
Cheltenham Town have failed to win on any of their last six visits to Port Vale (D3 L3) - their last win on the road against the Valiants was a 2-1 victory in January 2012 in League Two.
Port Vale are set to face a manager (Darrell Clarke) who has previously managed them in a league game for the first time since December 2016 when they lost 3-2 against Rob Page when he was Northampton manager.
This will be Darrell Clarke’s first league game against Port Vale since he left the club earlier this year. The current Cheltenham boss is unbeaten in all six EFL meetings with the Valiants (W4 D2), all between 2016 and 2021.
