Newcastle led early on through Anthony Elanga but Arsenal were 2-1 up at the break thanks to goals from Mikel Merino and an Alex Murphy own goal.

Jacob Murphy equalised for Newcastle but Arsenal won thanks to Martin Odegaard's late penalty after 15-year-old Max Dowman was fouled.

It's all over. Arsenal win this friendly and Newcastle lose it.

Arsenal try to get a fourth but Declan Rice's effort from outside the box is blocked.
