Barrow and Morecambe have only faced each other on two previous occasions in the Football League, with the Shrimps winning home and away against them in League Two in 2020-21.
This will be Morecambe’s first away league game at Barrow since February 2021, in a 2-1 victory under Derek Adams. After conceding an equaliser in the 65th minute, the Shrimps netted in the 66th minute to secure their victory.
Barrow have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three league games (W1 D2), and could keep four in a row for the first time ever in the Football League.
Morecambe have won their last four matches in League Two, while they could win five in a row in league competition for the first time since December 2009 (a run of seven).
