  2. 'Togetherness is the most important thing'published at 17:58 British Summer Time 19 October

    FT: Celtic 2-2 Aberdeen

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin tells BBC Scotland: "It was a really emotional game. We said at half-time, we have to calm down a little and come back to our strategy. We needed to find a way and to do that was to be a little more true to ourselves.

"I think we have an amazing squad and team spirit. We have had some late winners this season, showing our never give in mentality. Also, the away support helped us to get this energy.

"These games are important and difficult. They are going to test us in every area of our game. The most important thing is that we stick together inside games and find ways to perform well. I'm happy with that.

"We only focus on the next game. We don't focus on what happened already or the future. We now re-focus our energy for the game against Dundee United at Pittodrie.

"This support, we need it every game. We may have hard times and also good times. Togetherness is the most important thing."

  3. Celtic lacked 'killer instinct' - Rodgerspublished at 17:56 British Summer Time 19 October

    FT: Celtic 2-2 Aberdeen

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland: "We are disappointed. We had a good control of the game in the first half. We could have had more goals. We get punished for a really careless period.

"We were not aggressive enough. If you don't press well, you are always susceptible to that pass in behind. The second one is careless, we give it away in a really poor area.

"We found our rhythm again. I think it was 32 shots. A mixture of some really good defending and great saves from the goalkeeper meant we could not find the winner.

"They are a good team, well-coached. They have the luxury of no European football so they can prepare going into each game each week. They work it well.

"We should win the game today, there is no doubt about that. We just could not find the killer instinct."

  5. Hibs hit the bottompublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 19 October

    FT: Dundee United 3-2 Hibernian

Hibs will be under massive pressure for the showdown at Easter Road next Sunday - and this is a team that does not appear to handle pressure well.

They were 2-1 up on 93 minutes today, albeit with 10 men.

David Gray's side also shipped late goals in draws against Dundee and Kilmarnock.

Five points from eight games is a dismal haul.

  6. Cracking start for Critchleypublished at 17:46 British Summer Time 19 October

    FT: Hearts 4-0 St Mirren

It's fair to say the appointment of Neil Critchley left many Hearts fans rather underwhelmed, but the new boss is off to a flyer.

If he can sink Hibs in the derby next weekend, all of those doubts will evaporate.

The Edinburgh teams are sitting 11th and 12th, which is a pretty sorry state of affairs.

  7. Faltering St Mirrenpublished at 17:43 British Summer Time 19 October

    FT: Hearts 2-1 St Mirren

St Mirren failed to register a shot on target at Tynecastle today and are now on a run of seven defeats in their last 10 games across all competitions.

Summer signing Kevin van Veen was brought in to bolster their attacking options but, similar to his spell at Kilmarnock, he is yet to find his Motherwell form.

Nine touches, none in the box in his 61 minutes.

    FT: Dundee Utd 3-2 Hibernian

Just when you thought you'd seen it all, Scottish football throws up yet more drama.

Dundee United were trailing 10-man Hibs 2-1 in the 93rd minute and found two goals in the dying embers.

It piles yet more agony on the increasingly beleaguered figure of David Gray who goes into next week's Edinburgh derby with his team bottom of the league and without his captain Joe Newell, red-carded here for two yellows.

It doesn't rain but it pours on Gray at the moment.

As for Dundee United, huge credit. They were without their star man up top, Louis Moult and half of their starting midfield in Ross Docherty and Craig Sibbald.

They were losing with minutes to go. And yet still managed to find a way to win. Just one defeat in the league so far this year and a really solid platform from which to build. Could they be a top six side this season? On this evidence, they've certainly got the stomach for it.

  17. FULL-TIME Dundee United 3-2 Hibernianpublished at 17:13 British Summer Time 19 October

Two injury-time goals from Dundee United snatched victory from Hibernian, who completely capitulated at Tannadice and, as a result, fall to the bottom the Premiership table.

Despite Sam Dalby opening the scoring for the hosts, Hibs led late on thanks to headers from Warren O'Hora and Dwight Gayle.

However, Hibs captain Joe Newell was sent off late on for a second yellow, with Luca Stephenson equalising after a goalkeeping error to slam in the leveller.

There was still time for more drama, with substitute Meshack Obuchioma capitalising on a defensive mix-up to lob in the winner from the edge of the box with the clock on 99 minutes.

Amazing finish and Aberdeen complete a two-goal comeback to secure a point in this top-of-the-table epic.

Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi looked to have the leaders cruising, but second-half goals from Ester Sokler and Graeme Shinnie secure a win.

Both sides lose their 100% records at the top but remain unbeaten. Phew!
