They would be six points behind Manchester United with two games left to play.

They would need to win both and hope that Manchester United lose all three of their games and for there to be a 10-goal swing in goal difference.

Leicester are two on two but Hannah Cain keeps hold of the ball for too long and that allows Gracie Prior to intercept with a diving tackle.

Marisa Olislagers threads a ball forwards but Courtney Brosnan is out of her goal quickly to stop that Brighton attack.

Lily Murphy is the latest to try. She receives the ball with her back to goal and does well to turn but her effort is into the side netting.

Yui Hasegawa does brilliantly to nutmeg Julie Thibaud but then she opts to shoot from a really tight angle and it is a really comfortable save for Janina Leitzig.

Jelena Cankovic has a chance on the edge of the box but in the end she loses her balance and can only prod it in to the arms of Courtney Brosnan.

Nice build-up play from Manchester City as Kerolin and Lily Murphy combine but the latter's cross is straight into the hands of Janina Leitzig.
