I was going to give her player of the match before the penalty, to have the calmness to put the penalty away. What she's done off the ball as well, she's been the engine in midfield.

  2. Postpublished at 16:15 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 2-3 Liverpool

Tottenham are coming back strong again here after that latest set back but time is very much not on their side.

We're at last chance saloon territory now.

  3. goal

GOAL - Leicester City 0-1 Crystal Palacepublished at 16:13 British Summer Time 6 October

    Annabel Blanchard (55 mins)

More slick passing from Crystal Palace around the edge of the area and Katie Stengel shifts it across for Annabel Blanchard who goes low and hard into the bottom corner.

A great strike and the Eagles have lift off in the Women's Super League!

  4. 'You've got to have nerves of steel'published at 16:13 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 2-3 Liverpool

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

You've got to have nerves of steel now. My heart was going and I'm not even down there. Spencer gets a hand to it but it's not enough.

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Ooooh that's a good opportunity for Crystal Palace to sneak ahead.

The visitors shift the ball across well and it drops to Katie Stengel in space 15-yards out and she aims for the roof of the net but Janina Leitzig tips over the bar.

  6. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 2-3 Liverpoolpublished at 16:11 British Summer Time 6 October

    Marie Hobinger (90+5 mins)

Liverpool hit the front once again!

Calmness personified from Marie Hobinger, who fires low to the bottom left corne. Becky Spencer gets a hand to it but cannot keep it out.

Is that enough to see the Reds finally win this one?

Will we see a winner here?

Given the topsy turvy nature of this game you wouldn't rule out one last bit of drama...

  9. 'England snatches at that'published at 16:09 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

I think Beth England just snatches at that a little bit. The amount of bodies around her, England shouldn't have had the space to do that and get the shot away.

  10. CLOSE!published at 16:08 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool

Tottenham so close to the winner.

A corner floats in from the right hand side, bouncing off several heads before dropping to Beth England in the six yard box.

Her eyes light up at the chance but she lashes at it and can only direct it wide of the far bottom corner.

  11. INJURY TIMEpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 6 October

As in the first half we head into seven minutes of additional time at the end of the second.

  12. Postpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 6 October

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Leicester City get on the break and substitute Shana Chossenotte lays it off for Jutta Rantala, who gets a decent shot off from a tight angle but it's a good save by the legs of Shae Yanez.

That was the home side's first shot on target of the game.

  13. Postpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 6 October

    Leicester City 0-0 Crystal Palace

Katrine Veje goes for an ambitious effort from 30-yards out. Bit of a hit and hope and would have had to be something special to beat Janina Leitzig from that distance.

  14. Postpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool

Tottenham pick up where they left off.

Drew Spence volleys at goal only to see her shot blocked by Gemma Bonner.

Amanda Nilden fires in from the left shortly after but the deflection cannot take the ball to the feet of Beth England in the six yard box.

They'll both briefly continue to be assessed off the pitch.

  16. Postpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 6 October

    Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool

Ouch! A nasty clash of heads has called for another stoppage to the game so that the physios can administer treatment.

Tottenham seem to be preparing another change in the meantime.

Their second equaliser has been awarded to centre half Clare Hunt for now as her shot had been heading in before the deflection off Bonner.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 6 October

Back under way at King Power.

Leicester have opted to make a change as Shana Chossenotte comes on for Saori Takarada as they search for a breakthrough.

    Tottenham 2-2 Liverpool

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC Two

What a funny game. Liverpool players have scored all four goals. Gemma Bonner just gets her feet completely muddled. A great turn from Hunt. Gemma Bonner just can't get her feet right. Poor defending from Liverpool, great play from Tottenham.

  19. 'Really disappointing from Arsenal'published at 16:02 British Summer Time 6 October

    FT: Arsenal 0-0 Everon

    Helen Ward
Former Wales striker on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

It’s a really disappointing result and performance from Arsenal. They dominated the ball for the most part of the game but never looked hugely threatening.

However a lot of that is down to how Everton have played and set up. Everton were superb and all knew their jobs, they did it resolutely and they absolutely battled.

  20. goal

OWN GOAL - Tottenham 2-2 Liverpoolpublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 6 October

    Gemma Bonner (83 mins)

    Tottenham level once again!

Clare Hunt is played into the box, spins and fires at goal and Gemma Bonner's attempt to tackle diverts the ball into her own net.

Again slightly fortunate for the home side but after their efforts in the second half it is no more than they deserve.
