Brilliant save again from Arthur Okonkwo. If you are going to win a point away at Bolton, you need your goalkeeper on form. He saw Dion Charles from 15 yards out and he dived to his left-hand side.

Straight down the other end John McAtee plays on Dion Charles but his shot is tame and Arthur Okonkwo in the Dragons goal is able to smother.

He had nothing to do in the first half but Nathan Baxter in the Bolton goal is called into work almost from the off now!

Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris said the fans can give his players higher energy after being impressed by the atmosphere in his first match at the Stadium of Light.

Speaking to BBC Radio Newcastle, he said there is room for his team to improve after starting the season with two wins and two clean sheets in the league.

"The idea was very clear, we have many talented players in the starting XI and on the bench.

"The reality of the game today, and the competition, is that we need to be very strong in all the phases, especially set pieces.

"We know with the next games we will have many problems to solve.

On the Stadium of Light atmosphere: "It's impressive today and when the team represents the spirit of the community I think the link is very strong - the win, the way we played and defended.

"The fans like that and if they like it they can give us higher energy.

Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl says he takes responsibility for his side's 4-0 loss away at Sunderland.

The 35-year-old said it was "not good enough" that his side conceded two goals from set pieces and another from a situation where they gave away the ball to Eliezer Mayenda.

"We played too much to the six position [in midfield], we knew there were men marking and they wanted to win the ball," he told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"It's a big defeat for us. We had a big ambition coming here, we wanted to show up. We had a good feeling the last two games.

"I take responsibility for this as the coach, I will look at what should be improved.

"But we should not forget it's a process, to think after two good games this season it goes easy - forget it.

"For us, we need to be ready for the next game and show a reaction on Friday at home [to Leeds United]."

Wrexham will be happy going into half-time at 0-0. They've defended well.

There's room for improvement. What they have to do is keep possession and when they lose it, win it back.

If I were Phil Parkinson I'd be quite happy with what I've seen in the first-half knowing that my team can play a lot better.

Bolton started well and Wrexham keeper Arthur Okonkwo had to be on his mettle to save from Josh Sheehan and Aaron Collins.

The away side improved after a sticky opening but Nathan Baxter in the home goal has been a bystander so far.

Hopefully a bit more goalmouth action to follow after the break.
