    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

It is going to be tough over there. Bodo/Glimt have beaten some top teams at home, they are almost a different side when they play at home.

But I think Tottenham will score over there and that will kill the tie.

    FT: Tottenham 3-1 Bodo/Glimt

    Tottenham Hotspur

Ange Postecoglou says "hopefully nothing too serious" when it comes to James Maddison and Dominic Solanke, who both went off injured in the second half.

Spurs' medical room is already pretty busy. Postecoglou won't want two more added to that list.

    Full quotes to come.

  3. 'Tottenham would have taken that at the start'published at 22:18 British Summer Time 1 May

    FT: Tottenham 3-1 Bodo/Glimt

    Joe Hart
Former Man City goalkeeper on TNT Sports

The goal maybe changes things but the Maddison and Solanke injuries are really important.

To win the game tonight by two goals, well Tottenham would have taken that at the start of the game.

  4. 'Getting the early goal really set the tempo'published at 22:16 British Summer Time 1 May

    FT: Tottenham 3-1 Bodo/Glimt

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham winger Brennan Johnson speaking to TNT Sports: "We're pleased. If before the game you would have said that we'd have a two goal cushion then we'd be happy with it. They are a tough team. There is a reason why they have beaten other teams in the past. Disappointed to concede at the end but we are happy with the performance.

"I didn't realise it was that early. They are a team that build in confidence with time to play so we knew that we had to be onto them straight away. Getting the early goal really set the tempo and I thought we started really well.

"Maddison has scored a few goals like that this season and makes the run really well. Porro has the quality to find that pass and when it comes off it works really well. So when they get the timing right and Madders can finish it off it is a really well worked goal."

On Harry Maguire's involvement in Manchester United's first goal

I didn't know he had it in him. To be honest I never saw it in training but fair play, great ball in.

  6. 'One foot in the final'published at 22:12 British Summer Time 1 May

FT: Athletic Bilbao 0-3 Man Utd

    Manchester United

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire speaking to TNT Sports:

"The first 20 minutes were difficult, the crowd were super loud and the intensity was high. We made a few errors and we looked a little bit nervous at times in the first 20 minutes. I thought the lads grew into the game really well, we weathered the storm and we knew we'd get our chances and we were really clinical in that first half. The tie isn't done we'll be focused, ready at Old Trafford next Thursday and I'm sure Old Trafford will be like this place."

On his involvement in the first goal: "I found myself attacking the back post, I think [Alejandro] Garna passed me the ball, it was nice to do a bit of dribbling and put in a great cross. We had a lot of bodies in the box and they must've trusted me to put in the cross. It was a nice feeling and it was great header in the end.

"It's more important the win, it was a clinical first half, professional second half. It's a great victory in the end but another big game next week.

"All the pressure is on us now, everyone will expect us to get into the final, so next Thursday we need to make sure we prepare like we've done in this game, and if we do we give ourselves a great opportunity to make the final. It's been a great night for us, one foot in the final but it's still not done."

  7. 'Best that I've seen United under Amorim'published at 22:10 British Summer Time 1 May

FT: Athletic Bilbao 0-3 Man Utd

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at San Mames

The best that I have seen Manchester United play under Ruben Amorim.

They were excellent, granted they were playing against 10-men, but they still had to do a job.

Athletic Bilbao went to 10-men and from that point Manchester United completely controlled the game.

  8. Betis take slim lead into second legpublished at 22:08 British Summer Time 1 May

    FT: Real Betis 2-1 Fiorentina

A fantastic game comes to a close with Manuel Pellegrini's Real Betis taking a one goal advantage to Italy next week thanks to Antony's wonderful volley.

Fiorentina had the chances but were unable to build on Luca Ranieri's strike midway through the second half.

It's delicately poised for the return leg in Florence.

Harry Maguire has been nicknamed 'Harrydinho' on social media following his dribbling skills that led to the first goal.

"I'm sure there are a few nicknames for me out there," the Manchester United defender tells TNT Sports.

Maguire, of course, also scored the dramatic 121st-minute winner against Lyon in the last round.

  10. 'We hope to reach the final'published at 22:04 British Summer Time 1 May

    FT: Djurgarden 1-4 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson speaking to TNT Sports: "Very good performance, the most important thing is that we won. It is one step forward and we hope to reach the final.

On his second goal: "I saw the goalkeeper [Jacob Rinne] was always out [of his box] so I just shot and it went in. We won the game and the manager is happy and we are happy."

On Reggie Walsh making his Chelsea debut at the age of 16: "He's a very good player, top quality. For sure he is going to go far. I'm very happy for him to make his debut. I hope more to come for him and I am very happy for him."

  11. 'Still in the balance'published at 22:03 British Summer Time 1 May

    FT: Tottenham 3-1 Bodo/Glimt

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

The key moment in this tie was the Bodo/Glimt goal.

Spurs looked to be running away with it and cruising. And that one attack, the one shot on target changes everything.

This is still in the balance.

  12. FULL-TIMEpublished at 22:01 British Summer Time 1 May

    Tottenham 3-1 Bodo/Glimt

Overall a really good result for Tottenham.

They have one foot in the Europa League final.

They take a two-goal cushion to the Arctic Circle next week.

  13. Postpublished at 22:01 British Summer Time 1 May

Late chance for Dejan Kulusevski to add another goal but his effort flies wide of the far post.

  14. Chelsea juggernaut keeps crushing minnowspublished at 22:00 British Summer Time 1 May

    FT: Djurgarden 1-4 Chelsea

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Chelsea are the Conference League's Death Star continues to wreak havoc in Uefa's third-tier galaxy.

They are only getting more dominant as they put one foot, both arms and four of five toes into the final in Poland.

Can anyone, certainly not Djurgarden, stop the squad which is worth as much as the rest combined? (according to Transfer Room's player valuations).

Real Betis and Fiorentina may be the only proper game Chelsea play to win this trophy - as they avoid the only two teams with serious resources through the luck of the draw.

    Tottenham 3-1 Bodo/Glimt

A two-goal cushion is nothing to turn your nose up heading into the second leg, but Tottenham have just shown that they can still be vulnerable and concede a goal.

That will gives Bodo/Glimt serious confidence heading into next week where the artificial pitch and conditions all plays to their advantage.

Ed: Infuriating finish to the game. Soft goal and then lost all purpose. Should have been pushing for a fourth before and after conceding.

A teasing ball into the Tottenham penalty box is headed away by Brennan Johnson. It's pinging around and Guglielmo Vicario comes out to claim.

Nervy moments for Spurs. Five minutes of added on time.

  19. 'Missed opportunity for Tottenham to put it to bed'published at 21:57 British Summer Time 1 May

    Tottenham 3-1 Bodo/Glimt

    Rob Green
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Yes of course Bodo/Glimt were going to prove a threat at times but you've got to say that it has been a missed opportunity for Tottenham to put it to bed here.

That is why these two legged ties feel like an eternity at times.

Even if you go ahead in a matter of second you just know there are so many twists and turns to go.
