It looks like the occasion has got to Bilbao. When they cut out the fouls and play football they've been the better side. But three down with 10 men it's too late now. Not that I'm complaining!

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Cole Palmer's goal drought now extends to 17 matches in all competitions.

He may not get a better chance between now and the end of the season to break that barren run than against the team 11th in the Swedish table.

    Djurgarden 0-2 Chelsea

August Priske takes aim from the edge of the box but his shot is just wide of the post.

Djurgarden haven't had many chances but they are willing to shot when the opportunity presents itself.

It's a concentration exercise for Manchester United. They're going to have a lot of the ball in this second half and they can't let individual errors creep in.

The joy of neither being a Man Utd or Spurs fan is that even when they both seem to be in cruise control, we all know that they’re are seconds away from capitulation. Might not be tonight, but the second leg. I’ll grab the popcorn.

Four subs, Maresca? Four? That's insane.

Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, Moises Caicedo and Trevoh Chalobah on.

Enzo Fernandez, Reece James, Noni Madueke and Marc Cucurella all go off. Youngster Josh Acheampong is now playing left back.

Of course, this is squad management by the Italian manager with Chelsea in control and a huge match at home to new champions Liverpool on Sunday.

On the penalty and red card decision

I think once the penalty has been given Dani Vivian does have to go. Do I think it should've been a penalty? Probably not.

Is there enough to make Rasmus Hojlund go down? I'm not so sure.

BBC Radio 5 Live football reporter at San Mames

The atmosphere in here is febrile. Espen Eskas, the Norwegian referee and his team, have just felt the full fury of the Estadio de San Mames coming off at half-time.

It's been a long labour day here in Bilbao with supporters dreaming of a home final. As it stands it is Manchester United and Tottenham fans who will be checking flights and hotel rooms in the Basque Country in three weeks time.

    Chelsea

Despite concerns about the artificial surface beforehand, it has not really affected Chelsea's play.

Jadon Sancho has been effective on the right and Enzo Fernandez has provided the assists for both goals.

Enzo Maresca will be very pleased with his side's performance so far as they look to book their place in the Europa Conference League final.

Centre back, striker, now winger - perhaps give Maguire a game in goal, he's solving United's problems all over the pitch!

    Manchester United

This competition brings the very best out of Harry Maguire.

After his 121st-minute winner against Lyon in the quarter-finals, the defender was heavily involved in the first goal after producing a wonderful cross.

In addition, Maguire passing accuracy in the first half was 94.3%.

  19. Betis lead at the breakpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 1 May

    HT: Real Betis 1-0 Fiorentina

Fiorentina were hanging on a bit towards the end of that first half but they've escaped relatively unscathed.

Former Barcelona man Marc Bartra could have doubled the home side's lead at a corner but he blasted over the bar on his weaker left foot.

So that means Abde Ezzalzouli's sixth minute strike remains the difference.
