I hope Carsley says it how it is at half time. Utter rubbish from every player against a side who changed their entire 11. 65% possession, but doing nothing with it. All that enthusiasm from two years ago is evaporating.
England captain Harvey Elliott tries to inspire his side and he shows good feet to get around a couple of German defenders, but the shot is well over the crossbar.

Two goals coming from that left side. Samuel Iling-Junior is more of an attacking player, and it shows. Tino Livramento needs to be brought on soon. Madness that he didn't start.
Steve, Powys
The England defence has clearly not been given clear duties in set up, covering or responsibility. There is no tightness. It’s like a sieve.
Germany double their lead and Lee Carsley won't be happy with his side's defending.
The ball is played in first time from the right wing, Nelson Weiper leaps in between Jack Hinshelwood and Charlie Cresswell and is able to superbly guide the header into the corner.
Poor from England.
Ansgar Knauff, who scored the opener, gets an assist too as it was his cross that was converted.
Although England are losing, they are still heading through as it stands as Slovenia, who need a big win to have a chance of forcing Lee Carsley's side out, are only drawing 0-0 with the Czech Republic after 32 minutes of the first half.
Good tracking back from England's Samuel Iling-Junior as he slides in to stop Ansgar Knauff get a shooting chance after he ran on to a clever ball forwards from Paul Wanner.
A half-chance for the Germans as the ball is rolled to Caspar Jander, unmarked in the D, but he can't keep it down and it goes over the bar when he should've hit the target.
England progressed to the quarter-finals of the European Under-21 Championship despite being beaten by Germany in their final group-stage match.
Germany were already assured of a quarter-finals place after winning their first two matches and made 11 changes for the game against Lee Carsley's side.
England were trailing after just three minutes when Jarell Quansah was caught out by a ball over the top and Ansgar Knauff controlled brilliantly before drilling a shot into the bottom corner.
Carsley's side dominated possession after falling behind but it was Germany who scored next when Nelson Weiper got between Jack Hinshelwood and Charlie Cresswell to guide a header into the net.
England pulled one back in the second half after excellent work by Omari Hutchinson out wide, with his ball into the area tapped in from close range by Alex Scott.
The Young Lions pushed forward but couldn't find an equaliser, leaving England to finish second in the group and with a quarter-final against group A winners Spain on Saturday.
What's the main talking point?
After picking up four points in their first two matches England were in a strong position in the group.
Carsley made four changes to the side that drew with Slovenia on Sunday and again England dominated the ball but did not cause Germany too many problems.
England are blessed with a number of skilful ball players and they controlled possession but they lacked the runs in behind the Germany defence to finish off their nice build-up play.
They take on an impressive Spain side that topped a group that included Italy, and the Young Lions will need to lift their levels if they hope to make the semi-finals.
