Glasgow City squeezed out a 2-0 victory over Spartans.
It took 30 minutes for the deadlock to be broken at Ainslie Park when Natalia Wrobel found the back of the net.
Spartans found a few chances but did not do a huge amount to trouble Ava Easdon, making her City debut in goal.
Nicole Kozlova doubled City's advantage with six minutes before full-time to clinch all three points in Edinburgh.
