Newport County lost 10 matches in succession prior to their clash with Doncaster Rovers
Nelson Jardim clinched his first victory as Newport County boss as the Exiles came from behind to win 3-1 against Doncaster Rovers.
Jordan Gibson's cross was cleared to Owen Bailey who shot beyond Nick Townsend to put Rovers ahead in the 30th minute at Rodney Parade.
But summer signing Bobby Kamwa cut in from the left flank before curling into the far corner to level proceedings for Newport two minutes into the second half.
Kai Whitmore rifled into the top corner from the edge of the box on 66 minutes, before Matt Baker notched his side's third three minutes later as the Exiles earned their first triumph of the campaign - with Rovers tasting defeat for the first time since March.
Newport County boss Nelson Jardim told BBC Sport Wales: "It's a massive win. We knew it was going to be a difficult game.
"I'm just so pleased for the fans, they waited for this win for so long. Thanks to the fans for the huge support they gave us, and full credit to the players, I think they were brilliant, especially in the second half.
"Let's build on this win."
Doncaster Rovers boss Grant McCann told BBC Radio Sheffield: "It's a tale of two halves.
"I thought we were very comfortable in the first half. We were much the better team and we were very much in control of what we were doing.
"The same thing happened to us as it did last week. We conceded within the first few minutes of the second half.
"We lit the fire for them in the second half, we gave them the opportunity to get back into the game."
