    FT: Aberdeen 2-4 Celtic

    Aberdeen were beaten 4-2 by a resilient Celtic side, despite coming from behind twice.

    Morgan Cross' first-half goal had Celtic ahead at the break and they held on to their narrow lead until the 63rd minute when the hosts were awarded a penalty for handball.

    Captain Hannah Stewart converted from the spot to level before Maria McAneny put Celtic back in front. Stewart scored her second of the game four minutes later to make it 2-2.

    A Jess Broadrick own goal was added to by a debut effort from Hannah Luke as Celtic took all three points back to Glasgow.

    Celtic are a point off SWPL leaders Rangers while Aberdeen, sixth, have four points from five games.

  4. Hearts stay in touch with win over Motherwellpublished at 18:06 BST 14 September

    FT: Hearts 3-0 Motherwell

    Hearts maintained pressure on the SWPL's top three with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Motherwell.

    First-half goals from Carly Johns and Lauren Wade had the hosts 2-0 up at the break.

    Captain Eilidh Shore added a third early in the second period. The midfielder capitalised on poor defending from Motherwell and buried the ball into the bottom corner.

    The result leaves Hearts within three points of leaders Rangers and two points off Celtic and Glasgow City. Motherwell remain eighth.

  5. Wrobel secures Glasgow City win, despite Golob redpublished at 16:07 BST 14 September

    FT: Hamilton Academical 0-1 Glasgow City

    Glasgow City held on for a 1-0 victory over a resolute Hamilton Academical side, despite defender Lana Golob's second-half red card.

    Natalia Wrobel got the only goal of the game, and her first of the season, when she turned in Sofia Maatta's cross in the first half at New Douglas Park.

    Golob was shown a straight red card after 53 minutes for denying an opponent a clear scoring opportunity.

    The result leaves City within a point of Rangers at the top of the table with a game in hand, while Accies remain bottom without a point.

    Glasgow City take a three-goal lead into the second leg of their Europa Cup tie with Athlone Town in the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday.

  6. McGovern treble as Hibs humble Montrosepublished at 15:10 BST 14 September

    FT: Hibernian 5-0 Montrose

    Kathleen McGovern's hat-trick helped Hibernian to a resounding 5-0 win over Montrose.

    Despite a slow start at Meadowbank, McGovern broke the deadlock before half-time with a bending stroke from outside the box.

    Kirsty Morrison grabbed the hosts' second when her cross from the right curved beyond Ava Easdon in the Montrose goal.

    Linzi Taylor added a third for the champions before McGovern scored twice in five minutes to complete her treble.

    Hibs move on to nine points from four games after losing to Hearts in the league last week and in midweek to Europa Cup opponents Inter Milan. Hibs trail Inter 4-1 before Wednesday's return leg at Easter Road.

    Montrose remain on three points after five games.

  7. Rangers recover from deficit to stay toppublished at 15:01 BST 14 September

    FT: Partick Thistle 1-4 Rangers

    Rangers scored twice in three minutes as they came from behind to beat Partick Thistle 4-1 and remain a point clear at the top of the SWPL.

    Rachel Donaldson gave the hosts a surprise early lead when she smashed home from Hannah Robinson's through ball.

    Thistle managed to hold on to their lead until Katie Wilkinson pulled Rangers level with just over 20 minutes left to play at Petershill.

    The striker tucked in from close range after two strong saves from Jeni Currie in the Thistle goal. Laura Berry bagged the second just three minutes later as she finished beyond Currie from inside the box.

    Substitute May Cruft got on the scoresheet with the clock ticking down in Glasgow. She sent a left-footed strike from the edge of the box beyond diving goalkeeper Currie before Shin Ji bagged her first goal in blue when she capitalised on a goalkeeping error from the hosts to turn the ball into the back of the net.

    Thistle are on four points from five games.

    It's another full card of SWPL games today, with champions Hibernian taking on visitors Montrose and Rangers at Partick Thistle (live here) in the opening fixtures.

    Last season's runners-up Glasgow City, like Hibs, have been in midweek European action and they are away to Hamilton Academical.
